I don't often frequent the boards, but I wanted to congratulate Neil on the #1 on the NYT Best Seller list. Absolutely awesome, and well deserved!

He won't get the congrats here, but if you send it on the FAQ line on http://www.neilgaiman.com, he'll read it eventually.

Soooooo....I've been waiting about four months for this book to come out. It finally does (Quite near the day of my birth, no less!). I read it, cover to cover in less than a week. Now what? Another eternity of waiting? Thrice I damn you Mr. Gaiman and your ability to weave a story so entertaining and meaningful that I have no choice but to read it fast! My everyday life is now in shambles because all I can do now is dream...and stare at the random old man that enters my work once a week who looks remarkably like Zeus would like if he existed outside the realm of collective heads!

Anywho, got a little off topic there, I concur with the rounds of congratulations!

"I'd like to be a wolf. Not all the time. Just sometimes. In the dark. I would run through the forests as a wolf at night," said Richard, mostly to himself. "I'd never hurt anyone. Not that kind of wolf. I'd just run and run forever in the moonlight, through the trees, and never get tired or out of breath, and never have to stop. That's what I want to be when I grow up..."

Well, now you wait for The Graveyard Book (children's novel), MirrorMask to come to your area (movie), read the MirrorMask Script and Children's book (available now), go pick up the reprints of Angels And Visitations and Now We Are Sick if you don't have them yet (available now), and wait for Beowulf to finish filming! And while waiting for all of those, reread Anansi Boys Smile
