HEY NEIL!!!

I'm sitting here in Baghdad at the 10th CSH waiting on one my soldiers to get out of his doc appointment and I just finished reading this wonderful piece of literature. I sat there at the last page for about 10 minutes just seeing mself in the story and letting the images wash through my mind. I love the book. I didn't want it to end. All in all I love ANANSI BOYS and was wanting more to read even after it ended.
Great Job and I think I am going to go back and see if I can find a hardcover copy of STARDUST and NEVERWHERE.
OH , and NEIL, just so you know. when I finish one of your books I make it a habit to pass it on to someone I hope will enjoy it as much as I did and I ask that they do the same when they are done with it as well.
It's my way of spreading the wealth of your amazing stories.

always a Gaiman fan,

Hello,

I've heard tell that Neil doesn't read this board. If you want to send him a note, there is a facility for that on the main site.

Myself, I bought Anansi boys halfway through my 2nd reading of American Gods, and read the book twice in four days. And now I've lent it to my mum, and my aunt...

Not something I do often, but this is such delightful work!

You are a Confectioner. Who can take a sunrise and sprinkle it with dew? Actually, that's Bob The Enchanter, two doors down on the left. But you make delectable treats, which is no simple feat considering Oompa Loompas won't be invented for three centuries. Not only do you delight with your sweets, but you've paved the way for a new profession: dentistry!

Correct, he does not visit the boards. This is where you can send him a note.

I have to agree, this might be my favorite novel. Well, after Good Omens, of course, but that was 1) a collaborative effort and 2) my favorite for other reasons.

I thought Anansi Boys was remarkable, and probably the second best new book I've read in the last ten years. Yeah, sad to say, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell would have to be #1 on my list.

Still, what excellent company, eh?

(I've given Good Omens as a gift a total of nine times. I know this because I bought ten copies and the only one I have left is the one Neil defaced with that huge gold ink pen of his way back in *mumble mumble* Smile
