Hello everyone,
Thank you for indulging me on this post. I literally just finished reading Anansi Boys minutes ago and if I were to describe this book in one word, it'd be this... fantastic!

I picked up this book because my sister had recommended American Gods and I loved that book. She favors this one better. Either way, this was a book I couldn't put down.

Charlie was a great character as well as Spider, but I found myself loving to hate Coates as well. I felt like such a scumbag for hoping Charlie would end up with Daisy, but it was good to see they did and that Rosie ended up with Spider. And Maeve Livingston towards the end... it gave me goosebumps. She kicked the living hell out of Tiger/Coates and I was cheering all the way.

The characters in this were so great by themselves, but to see them connected towards the end was amazing. I'm not sure what else to say about this book, it wouldn't do it justice.

This is the second Neil Gaiman book I've picked up and I'm eagerly looking forward to checking out his other writings, because if they're half as good as American Gods, the Monarch of the Glenn novella, and Anansi Boys, then I believe I'm in for a world of good reads.
