i think im right in pointing these out. first off, very good book i enjoyed it quite a bit.

mistake 1) on page 290, mrs higgler is refered to as mrs higgins "Mrs. Higgins looked sullen."

mistake 2) on page 292 it seems the word little has become lickle. "Figure I'll stay dead for a lickle while."

so yea, im pretty sure i found 2 mistakes, but a wonderful book none the less.

cheers,
Elation

i can't comment on the first, but lickle is a baby way of saying little, i used it sometimes when i'm trying to be cute.

so that may not be a mistake.

using the new book of knowledge dictionary.

Lickle is a word. It's taken from Jamaican English and is a corruption of little. It's really very very common in spoken English. And is not a misprint, whatever your beliefs may be.

To back these two British posters up, check out their prior usage of the word.

Also, the definition found in a Jamaican glossery.
