I haven't bought my own copy of "Anansi Boys" yet, but most of my friends, who are also Gaiman fans, bought theirs already. I know I am gonna be missing a lot if I don't get my copy soon. Aside from owning a NY Times Bestseller (way to go Neil! Big Grin), I'd be missing this very thoughful, handwritten note made by Mr. Gaiman himself, just for Filipino fans. Yeah, it's included in the book but the catch is, it is only in 1000 copies.

One of my friends from Nocturne, scanned his 0077 copy of the note. I wrote something about it in my blog. You can view the pic there too. Smile

Hi SandChicken!

I hope they are still available today since they are just limited to 1000 books, but you can get them at any Fully Booked branch, Bibliarch in Glorietta and Sketchbooks in Greenbelt. Smile

So the handwritten letter for Filipinos was the 'surprise' Neil was actually referring to in his blog?

No, that was not the "surprise" yet.

You can join us at Nocturne, where Filipino Gaiman fans can talk about this. Oh and I finally bought mine!

I posted it in my blog. Smile

Anyone care to share theirs? Wink

the notes included in the books are just numbered prints. my copy is still with my best friend, so i wasn't able to check if the signature is original or also printed. Smile

of course, we'd all like actual notes, but considering how much neil gives back to his fans (both in the philippines and all over the world), i'm sill psyched. Big Grin

damnation's a hoot.

I am not quite sure yet since there is no official announcement from Fully Booked, but this is quite interesting. We'll just wait for the word from them. Big Grin

Ooh, that's so yummy!

If only I could write sci-fi that doesn't sound like a Star Trek rip. Confused
