I've dissed Crichton before for writing his novels as if they were already screenplays, but I recognize they're probably easier to sell that way. (Of course, there are other reasons to diss MC, but I'm probably preaching to the choir). Nevertheless, Anansi Boys looks like a real easy conversion to film.

Neil doesn't read the boards, but he has talked before about the possibility of an Anansi Boys movie. Of course, it's waaaay away from happening, even farther than a Sandman movie, last I heard, but it's possible.

The problem with a Sandman movie is difficulty, at least as I see it, with story continuity. No doubt the popularity of the series would draw fans in, but possibly not the uninitiated. Almost any of the stories would make a good feature, though
