Is it just me, in my drunkeness and madness, or did the cgi version of Ray Winstone as Beowulf bear a striking resemblance to Sean Bean? I wonder why he wasn't cast in the role, being a younger and more handsome actor - perhaps he didn't want to do it, after playing Boromir in LOTR?

cause and effect:
the best often die by their own hand just to get away, and those left behind can never quite understand why anybody
would ever want to get away
from them.

yeah, I thought he looked like Sean Bean, too. I think they wanted him to start with, though. I know they intended to make him look different, but I dunno why they ended up making him look like Sean Bean.

Wow, I thought it was just me... but I thought the same thing. Or maybe Ray Winstone thinks he looks like Sean Bean and after a little digital enhancement he was finally there! Rock and Roll Baby Wink
