Over at a place called Unlocked Wordhorde, a blog, we've been discussing (among other things) an old (really old) truncated DC Comics series titled Beowulf, Dragon Slayer.

It has been noted by the poster, a Professor Richard Nokes, and his commentors that the series was non-sensical, silly, and violated canon six ways from Sunday, using Vaseline instead of KY Jelly on Thursdays. As we've been writing about this it has occured to us that Neil could've take the same material and done so much better with it.
