Back in May 2008 we (Comparative Media Studies) brought author Neil Gaiman to MIT for the 1st Julius Schwartz Memorial Lecture (founder of DC Comics) to speak on a variety of subjects, including the definition of genre, Alan Moore, scaring kids with children stories, etc. Besides his opening lecture he spoke with our director, Henry Jenkins in an "Actors Studio" setting. We have created DVDs of this event and are selling them exclusively at New England Comics both online and in the shops. All proceeds go into putting on next years lecture with J. Michael Straczynski creator of Babylon 5 and Jeremiah.
