Alright, so I've read over all of the info that I could find about the guy who came into Canada with a manga comic on his laptop and got arrested for child porn

Now, I'm all for freedom of speech, but people have to remember that different countries have different laws. You can't come in to Canada from any country with a firearm and not get it taken and also get arrested. That's the law here. Sorry about that, but it is. You can't go into the states and drink when you're 19 either. You can here, but yeah, different countries, different laws. If you get arrested for breaking a law that is different in a country you visit and not in your own. Tough shit.

It seem's a bit silly if you ask me. I mean if you think about it anyone into anime has most likely got a manga or two inappropriate on their laptop-- Also there are the situations in which it can't be considered child pornography simply due to the fact that they aren't real children. Just drawn characters-- Also, in most teen friendly mangas 17 year old look about 11.

I think they should've explained the laws to him, maybe make him delete it but not arrest him.
