Hi, I've been a big fan of Neil since a while back. I come from a forgotten land in the 3rd world called Honduras. Living in London a few years back, I was only recognized as Honduran because of our brief participation in the Football World Cup of '82 (Not that I would know about this.) I am also one of 3 comic book authors in the land. 'Tis quite sad.

Point being, we have a cheap entertainment mag where I saw the first Honduran article on Neil Gaiman as James Blunt. Thought you'd find it amusing.

This is awesome, I really had a good laugh about it. If it makes you feel any better, I've heard of Honduras, but I couldn't tell you anything specific I know about it.

At livejournal (http://syndicated.livejournal.com/officialgaiman/) lots of people were debating if this was photoshopped or not. I told them it was a real article that was published.

I actually couldn't believe it myself when I first saw it. I handed to my girlfriend for a second opinion.
"Yes, that's Neil Gaiman." She said absolutely confused and annoyed at the same time.
It's a new low for journalistic mediocrity. I mean, I even tried googleing and yahooing both "Neil Gaiman" and "James Blunt" in the Images section to see if that could have possibly been the mistake. But no. It was 100% mediocrity all the way.

Hello again.

This is getting ridiculous. I woke up this morning, grabbed my handy entertainment mags from the table and found that Neil Blunt has struck again!

Not only did he struck again, but in the other magazine. We have two of them and the second one decided to make the same mistake as the first.

Just when I thought we couldn't reach a new low.

The article tell us that Neil Blunt is a big kidder and auctioned his brother off on e-bay and how he's thinking of doing it to his sister next.

BTW, big thanks to the person who sent Neil the link. He can now see that Honduras is big on him and add us to his next concert...er...book tour.

How bizarre!

Where do magazines like that get their pictures? Is there some kind of photo service that made a mistake or is just having a laugh?

Maybe you can call them or write them to point out their mistake...

My most offended girlfriend already did. We haven't received any response.
