Hi! I recently posted a picture of me holding a jolly roger shaped pillow in the WE picture's of posters thread. The picture was gone the next day, but the other picture in the post was still there. Normally some sort of explanation is given when things are removed, but I didn't see one in the thread. And since I don't know why it was removed I am worried it may be something I do again unaware. Pirates are alright, but maybe the actual symbol of the jolly roger is offensive? Helps me, please!
(I have since deleted the whole post, just because the text following made no sense without the picture.)

we'll look into this, but if it happens again let us know because i didn't remove it and you are right, when we remove things we give an explanation why - there may be a bug in the board we're not aware of!

Yay! I was mistaken for Maeve Very big compliment! And yes I shall let you know if it ever happens again. I just figured the image offended someone.

not that maeve is a bad person to be mistaken for but i should have looked closer...i made an assumption since maeve was posting all the pics yesterday!

do you want to try posting them again and see what happens - send me the link to where they are.

Like Smaug said, we don't delete pictures without giving an explanation. And if we had, there's an automatic line added by the software at the bottom of the post that says something to the effect of: "Last edited by aitapata or whomever, date, time stamp." Was there such a line in your post before you deleted it?

I've noticed that sometimes my own picture hosts do funky things and the photo just doesn't load. Perhaps this was the problem?

But, yes, next time please leave the post in question up so we can take a look at it.

It was there when I first posted (I usually go back to see if they look alright). I didn't see an edit message, and that looked funny. I'll post if it happens again, though!
