Dear Neil,

Do you plan to come to India on a book tour or anything sometime soon? Please do, you have loads of fans in India, and there's Harper Collins here, so do make a trip this year!

I admire your writing very much.

Hello PurpleMist.

Neil does not read the board, but according to his FAQs to get him to visit your country you need to do the below :

quote:
Q. When will Neil be coming to my town/country?
A. Keep an eye on Where's Neil?.

I like seeing new bits of the world. I like meeting foreign publishers. There are interesting things to eat in Singapore, for that matter. And there's a -- what, a crypt? a burial chamber? a memorial hall? -- in Oslo I want to go back to. And I've never been to Israel -- or South AfricA.

If foreign publishers and conventions ask me to go places, mostly I will, if I get enough advance notice, and if I can. Usually I ask for a first or business class (or at the least, an easily upgradable) ticket, because I don't like spending ages in planes, and I like to be able to function when I get places.

If you want me to come to your country, your best bet is to write to the publisher, and to talk to bookshops, and the publishers will get in touch with my agent. If you've got a convention you want me to go to, then just get in touch with my agent, as many years as possible in advance.

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

the parrot... ...gets tiresome.
the parrot... ...i ate him.
