I've been testing the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini cellphone (runs on Android) and cannot access WGB or NGB. Other fora seem to work just fine, as does Neil's blog.
But when I try to connect to the board by link or url, I get a page with the actual (html or whatever) code on it.

Is the board not accessible via Android phone or am I doing something wrong? Is this a known problem?

I don't think the board likes any mobile phones, but I'll put in an enquiry about it.

I've never had a problem with the iPhone, for instance.

okay, i've started making enquiries, but if anyone else wants to give me feedback on what mobile phone they use and if it works, or if not what the problem is, it could be helpful.

You are a Leprechaun. I'm not even sure what you are. Whiskey-soaked reports from your baffling Isle of Ire raise more questions than they answer. Are you a dwarf? Where's your pickax? If you're an elf, why don't you cobble? You'd think with all your gold, you could invest in some land, perhaps a title, and improve your station. Instead, you hide it in meteorologically-determined locations. You're getting killed on inflation, little friend!

Years before the language will be mangled with terms like facilitator and networking and interpersonal communication, you've overseen it all, and broken up a few bar fights, to boot.~

I've had some feedback!

quote:
Eve Community does not really support mobile browsers inherently. The HTML is basic enough that a lot of phones and devices can do surprisingly well. We do plan to support mobile devices more explicitly in the future, and I am curious how you see that support working?

Would you expect the application to flow the same way through a mobile device, with the same pages, just scaled down a bit in size... Or would you expect it to flow differently?

thoughts?

i can't log in to the board from my phone - for some reason it won't give me somewhere to put in my username and password. but my phone is so small anything that it would be purely an exercise in frustration to try to have meaningful anything on here.

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon
