Hello ... would there be any problem in my posting a thread on World's End about
International Blog Against Racism Week ? It's running Aug. 6-12 this year. This is an effort that a bunch of us over on LiveJournal are working to organize: basically, people give the subject a shout-out one or more times in their blogs during the week, use special usericons during that time to daw attention to the effort, and so on. Last year's went quite well, with a couple of hundred posts collected on the subject of racism in the fandom community and in the larger world, how it affects people, what others have done in their various communities to combat it, etc. I hope that this would not be considered spamming. - Cho _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ You are a Confectioner. I'm running a half marathon for charity at the end of september, would it be ok if i started a thread in WE asking for people to sponsor me, or providing links to the site?

As a long term poster, who is only selling charity...that sounds fine by me. we have allowed this before (from another long term poster and for a charity) and your charity is legitimate. ~ You are an Accomptant. You keep track of the King's accounts, which is a fairly simplish job: his current holdings is always A LOT, and his expected revenue is always MORE. 'Sgood ta be da King. As long as there isn't a peasant uprising, you're likely to keep your head. Also, you're the only one in the office who knows how to use an abbacus. (Or multiply.) (Or add.) I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not. |
