Hello. My name is SandWitch and I'm a n00b.
I got into Neil Gaiman's stuff when I was sent to work in a high rise minilab (1hr photo) in a broom closet with no windows and noone to talk to. I bought American Gods and instead of going insane, quitting my job and possibly needing therapy, I read it and three months later got moved back to my old store and civilisation. Just recently I got to thank Neil in person at the signing in Melbourne. So right now I am a very happy n00b. |

welcome to the board, if you want more than me responding to this you're actually better off going over the the Worlds End section of the forum and joining in there, perhaps starting yourself a new thread saying more or less what you've said here, this is a very quiet part of the board and i'm afraid if you stay here you may get overlooked! ~ You are an Accomptant. You keep track of the King's accounts, which is a fairly simplish job: his current holdings is always A LOT, and his expected revenue is always MORE. 'Sgood ta be da King. As long as there isn't a peasant uprising, you're likely to keep your head. Also, you're the only one in the office who knows how to use an abbacus. (Or multiply.) (Or add.) I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not. |
