I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your questions, although some of our boardsters, including my fellow mod aitapata will be at the PEN one and may know more information.

From what I understand at this point, there most likely will not be any signings. But that's not a definate "no." The circumstances (venues and co-speakers) merely make it unlikely.

(aka : I'm not planning on lugging my heavy-ass Absolute Sandman around NYC because it probably won't get signed.)

edit : Neil's making a total of *four* appearances in NYC next week, two on Wednesday and two on Thursday.

I'm completely and utterly officially apologizing to folks -- I'd been led to believe by Official Folks that there wouldn't be any signings. I was completely and utterly surprised (though, really, it's Neil. I shoulda known) the he was indeed signing.

I was surprised too. I haven't been to such an easy signing in NYC since the 90's. There weren't 1200 people lined up, for once.
