I'm at work, but I'm *still* not tired! I have about 10 minutes worth of real work to do! Woo hoo! Desk nap this afternoon.

going back to haul equipment and wrap up last paperwork (after Geoff gets off to school).
And take poor llama back to schoolworld.
Mr. Dweller.....I have your chapbook and amaranth.
Everyone, it was the most wonderful thing to see you all this weekend.
Next time I don't think I'll work, that way I can spend more time....Maure, how do you DO it?
And very funny to see CD, Lauren, GMZoe, Matt, Jeff and Furious all going through security together.

I have photos! I downloaded them onto B's computer this morning (she has a nifty Vaio that has a slot for a memory stick--so cool), and then put all of them onto my USB key.

Which means that at some point today i'll be putting them all up on Flickr and posting the best ones here.

I do have a blackmail shot of Matt Cable (hee!). Not too many shots of Neil, but i got one with him while i was in my mask (which he seemed to like), and one without. And tons of shots of the Twinkies and random assorted boardies.

Oooooh! Also, i have THE definitive photo of Walker. It is purest Essence of Walker, i swear.

Dude, we thought you were going to have a brain embolism. Especially when that rat hit $1000. Everyone behind you was dying.

Matt had the greatest shot of you - the angle was just enough to show the "WTF?" expression on your face.

EDIT: If it makes you feel better, I believe you had your hand over your mouth in shock and horror, so the lower half of your face, at least, was covered.

I was just taking a smoke break a minute ago, and kept expecting to recognize people going in and out of the building I work in, and the felt kindof disoriented and bummed when I realized I wasn't standing in front of the hotel. Frown

The rat was just this random auction item - a little statuette thingy that someone made for Neil. It hit $1000 at the auction. We were very confused.

Certain members of the board decided to "collect" the signs posted around the hotel saying that the hotel was not responsible for lost or stolen items. I believe they presented one to Neil. Freaks.

And, for your edification, an intimate conversation between _ and Jocelyn Saturday morning.

_: *Blinking at the ceiling* Am I hung over?
Jocelyn: . . . .
_: *Poking experimentally at head* I mean, I'm feeling kinda queasy, but my head doesn't hurt.
J: Gnnngggg.
_: Of course, I always feel queasy in the morning.
J: <Groan>
_: *Turning my head* Honey, am I hung over?
J: <Whimper>
_: . . . .
_: Honey, are you hung over?
J: Mmmm Hmmmm.
_: . . . .
J: <Groan>
_: <Comparing the relative conditions of the two>
_: . . . yeah, I don't think I'm hung over after all.
_: *Places water and Advil on the bedstand*

LOL Big Grin

Thanks, that cleared a few things up Smile I'll bet the things you guys were up to will be crazier than anything I can imagine happened. I want to soak up all the boardlove that's been going on over the weekend. Some of us just have to live vicariously, you know.

Most of my photos came out drunk.

Many of them do not include all of my head and someone taller's whole head and neck.

I have a very regal photo of GMZoe in Maure's tiara.

I am just doing laundry and found a CHEESEBALL in my suitcase. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

What was his response to that? And was it up in the sky bubble where he got the sign?

Neil has the Collectors' Edition sign. I wasn't able to get the hooks off any of them except that one, which was hung double-hooked.

Amy and I prefaced it with saying that we were tipsy. He said, drunk? And we said, no, tipsy. He laughed right away when we gave it to him and was eager to hide it so no hotel peple could see it. Amy was told later that he was greatly amused.

I have mine hanging from my coat rack. It looks quite nice.

So I bought a bottle of the Fiddler's Green ink, thinking it would be cool to set on my desk and maybe someday I would buy a quill pen and look sophistocated. Since it's a glass bottle I didn't want to put it in my suitcase for fear of breaking and turning everything green. Apperently the cap wasn't on tight and I had it in my PANTS pocket until we went through security. I pulled out a green mess. I got home and let's just say Fiddler's Green left it's mark on me (on my leg).

I'm Matt Cable and I approve this message.

Jen came up to me during the after masquerade party upstairs, plotting on how to get Neil and Jill Thompson out onto the dance floor. She went to drag Neil on the floor, and I grabbed Jill. I just said, "Come dance with us," and she did. That was awesome.

On Sunday down in the dealer's room I went up to Caitlin Kiernan to give her a copy of Dragonfly Heart. I nearly shat a brick with fright as I did so.

And Amy TheatreGeek gave free kisses to anyone who bought a copy of my book! I still have the sign she made for my dealer's table.

Does anyone want to see the list of auction items and the prices they went for?

I seem to have reached my limit on Flickr uploads for the month (already!) and i've only uploaded 15 of the 62 photos i took. This makes me very sad. I suppose i should have reduced the file sizes first.

Hi. I'm a new poster here, but I was at Fiddler's Green. I still haven't unpacked and I'm trying to drag myself back into the real world. I had a truly awesome time and would love to get to know more of you that I met there (and didn't but should have).

I look forward to seeing some pictures! Which of you was the lovely long-haired brunette going about trying to get everyone's picture? I know you got one of me. I was Death (one of the few). Anyhow, I just thought I'd come and meet you all!

I think Flickr goes by number of pic uploads now, not size. If you want to email me some, I can put them up on my account.
