Though not as lucky as you guys cause im downsouth here in Cebu City. yep. no powerbooks. just boring national bookstore where u cant even buy a stupid harry potter 5 book(my sis has been wanting one for forever). please tell powerbooks to open shop here and to not make their books so expensive!!

I think Powerbooks just raised the prices of comicbooks a bit (but I guess that's because of the peso-dollar rate).

But still...they're expensive!

actually, the last time i was in powerbooks was like 4 years ago . and i think national bookstore is way more expensive.bytheway, to all u guys not from cebu, its SINULOG! today.its truly the biggest party in the Philippines, im not kidding!you guys must chek out cebu if you want great beaches, great bands andgreat people. and we have nightlife here too!hehe.

I'm a newbie-- a 21-year old demented college student who found herself addicted to Neil Gaiman's works. *sheepish grin* I got lucky to purchase some Neil Gaiman's books (Neverwhere and Stardust) in our university book sale and in National Bookstore. They _are_ selling them but you really have to look hard for them. Most salesperson here don't know Gaiman-sama. *sob!*

Oh yeah, book sales are one heck of a treasure chest if you want to have Gaiman's books for a cheaper price (like what I did). You don't have to go to Comic Quest or CCHQ (Comic Central Headquarters, at Katipunan Quezon City) or Powerbooks to have them.

Geez...I'm a pretty talkative person when I'm sleepy. -_-; Later then. Just saying hi. long-cut way...hehe.

hei! dami pala natin dito...i was just passing by and saw a lot of us here so just wanted to say hi! I'm from Davao City but I'm studying in Manila right now.

Been saving up to buy all the volumes of the Sandman series, all i can say is its mahal but well, it's worth it...It's cheaper by the way in Powerbooks and Fully Booked (Php 999) compared to Filbars (Php 1200)

It would be nice if Neil Gaiman did come to the philippines...a lot of foreign artists seems to be coming here now so maybe it's just a matter of time...

I posted a topic in Flame Wars once. GMZoe asked if I was just trying to get a rise out of people. Hah.
