- A Reading and Book Signing at Fully Booked Promenade Greenhills (opening July 8, 2005) will start at 2:00pm

JULY 11, Monday:
- A Press Conference (by invitation) and the British Council Writers' Forum at the Music Musuem will be from 1:30-3:00pm
- A Reading and Book Signing at Fully Booked Gateway Mall will start at 4:30pm
- Winners Dinner (Raffle and Art Competition winners) at 7:00pm

i just met neil gaiman today. he is so nice!

i'm really really happy but i'm soo wiped out.... the day was so long and hot. and i think there was a thousand people there!

(will come back to this thread later... my brain's still not functioning. i think i stopped when i was standing right next to mr. gaiman. i swear i was acting like an idiot when i swore i that wouldn't. AUGH.)

I think the brain short-circuits when you realize that he's actually talking to you. Happened to me too.

When I got to ask him a question at his talk in Singapore, I meant to say, "I need some professional advice" and ended up blurting, "You're my damn hero and the ambassador of good will for hopeful geeks everywhere."

My idiotic thing was walking away when he was still talking to me. I thought my turn was over after I got my Stardust signed. Neil was telling me that the hardcover edition had only 4000 printed and it was probably the rarest of the versions and I was like "I didn't know that" then my friend blurted out "She's your biggest Filipino fan" just as I was walking away. And I could hear Neil going "Is that why you're here in Singapore instead of in Manila?" and looked back to see him giving me this "she must be a crazy stalker person" look. I said "No!" from where I was standing but I don't know if he heard me.

*facepalm*

Out of curiosity, were you at the Kino signing or the Borders signing, and did you attend the talk at the library and ask a question?

I was at the first Mirrormask showing and at the Borders signing (in the queue OUTSIDE the building) and I'm too shy to ask questions... :P

Neil Gaiman aside, pretty momentous day for me. Met all 3 girls I've pined for in the past, one artist I've been crushing on (told her I loved her work), and also met the only girl I knew to have ever crushed on me. Whew.

LOL...Neil was cheered on like a rockstar...even when he removed his leather jacket XD

Been a lurker for a while. Just joined up. Met Neil yesterday and wanted to share.
