I couldn't help but give him a little squeeze around the waist while I was hugging him, which probably came off as a pretty pervy thing to do, but I doubt he noticed. Besides, when was I going to get another opportunity to do so?

I called him through my friend's phone while they were having dinner since she was the grand prize winner (yes, I'm rather resentful). It was pretty embarrassing when he finally came on the phone.

Neil: Hi, this is Neil.
Me: Gaiman?

What an uttery stupid thing to say! It just popped out of my mouth. Who ELSE could it have been, Neil effing Armstrong? Gaaahh. I blew it.

So not only did you get to TOUCH him, you actually got to SPEAK with him on the phone too?
