This may be a question that nobody can answer but Neil, however... I just found out that Neil would be teaching a writing class in June, only to learn I missed the application deadline by a month. I was wondering if anyone knew if he planned on doing somthing like this again--or if I'm just shit out of luck.
I am one of those rare individuals who has little time to spend time on the internet-- school, work, a life long friend getting murderd, and other distractions which life presents have kept me from being a well informed Neil Gaiman fan over the course of this year. I really hope Neil decides to try teaching again (beyond SDU) because I think he could significantly influnce the next generation of aspiring author's (even though he is already) with his advice. Thanks for posting an answer though queen monk.
This particular workshop is Clarion (not to be confused with Clarion West), and the teachers rotate every year, so the chances are good that if Neil teaches it again, it won't be for a while.
And it's at UCSD, now, having moved there from (I believe) Michigan State (hence the Clarion West thingie).
