This thought occurred to me late yesterday as I was unpacking. We've all heard the stories about Woodstock in 1969, how wonderful it was, how you had to be there, and so on.

I've been to a few conventions over the years, and I think that Fiddler's Green may very well be the Woodstock of cons.

Except we didn't sign people's yearbooks/shirts "Stay sweet! C U soon!"

Instead we took pictures of foot orgies.

I actually skipped my 10 year highschool reunion a month ago. It felt like I knew the people from WE longer than anyone I would've seen from my highschool. It was nice.

Maybe you can get Joni Mitchell to come out of retirement to write the official F.G. celebration anthem. She managed to write the Woodstock song without having been there, so she should be able to fake the F.G. thing too.
