I am writing this post in english only out of politeness to the board and other posters. I am also argentinian (and somewhat of a lurker, as you may notice from my post-count...), and it is nice to see someone from one's own country. No luck with the information about London or Hastings, never been there. As for getting the books, up to now i've managed quite well with amazon. If expensive, they have almost everything written by Neil.
Do you live in Buenos Aires? Lately I have started seeing some books of Neil's published by Norma, the spanish editorial house. They are not at all cheaper than the english or american editions, but it was quite a surprise to see them on the stores.
Well, hopefully someone will be able to answer your question.

Saludos, y mucha suerte!

Any Waterstones store has Neil's books. As does any Borders (though there are fewer stores in London). And Forbidden Planet (London). Waterstones has been having a huge sale and I know Anansi Boys hardcover was 1/2 price in the sale.

Thanks, I know they are in amazon, just don´t want to expend that much! I found used books for 4 pounds, but the shipping would cost a lot. I guess I´m only 24, have plenty of time to find he´s book, and get a better job. lol.
I live in buenos aires indeed, in avellaneda, but work and study in BA. I have some of Neil´s from brainstorming edition, that I found in comic books stores. How much cost books of Norma edition and where did you found them? my msn veranosnecios@hotmail.com, love to get the info.
Saludirijillos (good bye like flander says)

Yeah, I'm from belgrano myself. Coghlan actually, but it's almost the same. The books I saw first at Musimundo in the Unicenter, which was the reason I found it surprising. There, American Gods (I can't really recall if it was called that or "Dioses Americanos") harcover was about 80 pesos. Later, on Cabildo (the avenue), I found it at a newspaper stand (you know, at a "kiosko de diarios"), wich surprised me even further. It was about 65 pesos. Good Omens, wich was called "Buenos Augurios" was about 40 pesos at Musimundo, as was Smoke and Mirrors ("Humo y Espejos"). Those two I couldn't find anywhere else.
I thought this might have had something to do with Neil's sudden fame as a script writer, and his pictures having a relatively broad realease. I'm just saying this based on Mirrormask, but the making of Beowolf with Zemeckis, who is well known all around, may have something to do with it.
Well, I just hope they start bringing more of his books to the country. It is not as if I would read them in Spanish, but if those do well , perhaps Kell or ABC will start importing them in english.
