Well, some creators do participate in their own boards, including some of the busiest men in comics (Brian Michael Bendis, Warren Ellis). Certainly it's easy enough to look in the FAQs and learn that it is not the case here, but it's not unreasonable initially to believe that he might.

I don't know if anyone's that into it yet but Video Games Live is going to be at the San Diego Comic Con this year. It's a big symphony that plays music from video games with the video games playing on giant screens in the background. It's Thursday at con and I think tickets are now officially on sale.
