Okay, my work's got a quiz night coming up, and I need some quiz team name ideas...can be as lude or as innocent as you like Big Grin

I found a couple which I'll suggest to my workmates:

'The triggerhappy sore losers'

'Ken Dodd's Dad's Dog's Dead'

What else?

The two classic rude ones are Norfolk and Chance and the slightly less relevant Suffolk and What.

My friends and I are always The Red Shirts to try and give us an air of self-effacing underdog to any geeks present and meaning nothing at all to anyone else.

Some folks I know used to use 'Cockburn' but every time the guy running the quiz would say "co-burn" they'd yell "COCK BURN!!!"

Subtle, I know.

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon

And me! (Perfect opportunity to see if bribery is as endemic in Parliament as we have been led to believe.)

Also, I think people would love it once they learnt where it came from. Everyone's had a troll.

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.
