But what is really funny is I did this free tarot reading online(I dont know the website, sorry. I just googled it and it came up) and one of the cards was as follows...

-----

Ing - Reversed
in the Career position.

Hidden career.

Ing reversed indicates limitations and obstacles to expansion. There is a waste of creative energy, and consequently, a lack of well-being. An inability to center yourself and concentrate power is wasting available opportunities.

----

That just fits so perfectly with the crappy job I have. I thought that was funny.

I asked 'Will I be wealthy?' and I got this card right side up:

The Star: New hopes and splendid revelations of the future. Insight, inspiration, courage and enlightenment of the spiritual self. Body and mind and converging towards the light at the end of a dark time.

I wouldn't say I 'hate' my job, as far as jobs go it's a nice job.

However, it's very boring and most difenetly not what I was put on earth to spend my time doing.

However, they put up with a lot of my slacker ways, so I can't complain.

Today I can hate my job (as well as other things) as being in a long line of people who have left me out of things etc...

And just because I'm fucking angry, I'll repeat myself again.

Tomorrow, I'll be the only one here because everyone else has been invited to the Royal British Legion's 85th Birthday.

I have not been invited.

Ooooh, now THAT'S gonna make me work harder isn't it.

That's the second time at work that they've neglected to invite me somewhere.

First time: "Oh, I didn't realise you wanted to go."

Second time: "Not enough tickets."

The first, bull, because I was the one who kept bringing it up. The second...whatever, it's still no way to make me wanna work hard.

As a coworker from an old job once sang:

I hate my job,
I don't even wanna try.
I see my paycheck,
It makes me wanna cry.

(There was a whole song and I used to know most of it, but the chorus there is what sticks in mind most).

James

A couple days ago I quit my job - after 6 years. I've thought and thought about it and the reasons why and in the end it just wasn't worth how effing miserable it has made me.
You take it and take it and compromise try harder and you sink and sink till you feel like your drowning.

My company doesn't fire anyone ever - they are so scared of lawsuits for wrongful dismissal and workmans comp....
That's what a major part of the problem is.

Funny I never feel bad when I get fired only when I quit...like I could have stuck it out.
oh well

I told someone at work today that I sometimes understand why postal workers go postal. And that instead of a gun, I would prefer the more personal touch of a flame thrower... but only directed toward specific floors of the building...

I think I scared her...

A little fear is a healty thing.

Days like these....It's not worth it.

I need to become independently wealthy, somehow, legally, without a game of chance. Any ideas?

Yeah.

*sighs*

Indifference is very bad for the work place. I just don't care anymore.

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.
