Call centers are horrible sometimes.
I'm feeling meh because wasps are getting into the kitchen and I don't know how. It's bad enough when they come into the shop at work.

You know you need time off when the printer acting up makes you want to cry.

I need time off too. I haven't taken a vacation day in almost two years, when I went back home and relocated. I'll have to wait until July, though.

(I feel grateful I work for a corporation and I get paid vacation days. There's a freeze on using them while we're behind, but still, I get paid vacation days. I think I will start boycotting Michaels after all. Mad )

meh

it's sunny and i've got a really good weekend lined up. and i feel rubbish! why do i feel rubbish?! i'm really not sure. part of it's to do with being ill, but not all of it. mum is also itching for something to go wrong this weekend so she can say i told you so and ban me from meeting people on the internet, which is getting insufferable. i didn't think you could be smug before there's anything to be smug about.
but even that's not all of it. or i don't think so anyway. i just feel fed up.

It's beautiful out for the first time in weeks. I'm stuck at work. Frown

And I'm feeling all lightheaded and almost, but not quiet yet, achey from a new swim class.

I want to go home and sit on the balcony with my book and my knitting.

*places a tray at end of said stick*

*puts a cup of tea, some various biscuits (the good kind), brownies, blondies and various pieces of fancy chocolate on it), as well as a comic book*

*holds other end of stick*

*hands tray over to Weeble from a safe distance*

Ugh. I am having a horrid time of it right now. I am soooo tired of my students--I am def. ready for a new batchFrown and my friend at work is being really cold and distant. my other friend at work is.....well....not all that sharp, not to be mean but it is frustrating. and i have piles of grading to do. I have had parent meetings every day this week and bus duty afterwards. and my medication is crapping out on me, thus I have been in tears needlessly for the last few daysFrown whaaaaaaaah!

*hugs for willowtreeling*

I don't get it. There's a bunch of stuff that needs doing at work. J says to get started on it, and she'll do the rest when she comes in. Does she really think I can't get it all done? I purposely stopped early last night, and I'm taking my time with it today so I don't finish it all up at once and am left with nothing to do.

Does she think I'm that slow/stupid that I can't get it all done?
Or is she that slow/stupid that *she* can't get it all done and therefore assumes no one else can?
Or am I missing something/doing something wrong that she is going to have to come along and correct and be pissed off about?

I don't get it.

J thinks?

Maybe she thinks it'll make her sound a super employee if she pretends that she has to clear up after you? As opposed to the slacker she actually is?

Either way, *hugs* for you.

And *hugs* for willow!

Could be, Babs. Maybe she wanted me to leave it for her so she can look like she's actually doing work.

She had the nerve to complain that she had to do all of the first of the month billing by herself on Tuesday because she had given me the day off. I hate to remind her that I have done all of the first of the month billing by myself for March AND April. She'll get no sympathy from me.

Maybe you should do something nice for yourself. Go shopping, buy yourself a new book or CD, go to the cinema.

Or just make yourself a cup of tea/coffee, lean back & think of the fact that there are so many people here who like you & think highly of you!

I agree with Cassi, Smauggy. Take a bit of a break. Take a bubble bath. Have some wine. Wink Watch a silly movie. Treat yourself to something nice.
