Hm.

*stares for a while*

Nothing ventured, nothing gained I guess.

Or maybe ... something gained anyway.

i am feeling quite frustrated at the moment. and it's not just in one area of my life. on the surface...and according to everyone else's perspective...things are looking good. but i'm not content to settle for anything less than achieving my dreams.

So tired.

I just don't care about work anymore. And I have a 6 year prison term because they're paying for my masters...

Meh.

May the work bit pass quickly, and the lovely non-work bits strech out to compensate.

Wow ... even now, after so many years I nearly choked on the amount of pride I had to swallow. But I think it was necessary, and I held my own. I just have to see if anything good comes of it. *closes eyes*

I think I'm going to have to work two jobs, for possibly until I go to uni. 6 months of working every single day.

Ugh.

But I think I have to, because otherwise I'm going under.

Murrg...

You can do it if you absolutely have to.
Or have a job evenings and a student job. It may be very different there, but I know Llama held a student job, which paid the bills. The big plus is that those jobs have to schedule around your school schedule.

And, whatthehell. I'm working two jobs and it hasn't killed me yet. Wink

I just can't get going today. I don't know how StB, SP, BeeZee and Capt. Crash do it. I told a friend how exhausted I was just from working 50-55 hours and she said it was because we were old. Frown I think she's right.

*massively hugs weeble* old Eek 55 hours a week is a lot, and you have every right to be exhausted. i do the standard 40 (plus work that i take home sometimes) and i still have hideous days when i hate my job.
take a few deep breaths and read some funny posts (the boards have been making me giggle this morning Big Grin)

*hugs Weeble*

I think my kid had it right this weekend. He said that even though I have lots of hours, mostly on my feet with a lot of physical work...lifting, hauling stuff around....the biggest thing is that I'm doing something that I enjoy, and with people that I genuinely like. So even at my age, for the most part I look forward to going to work. That's what gets me through.

Frankly, I don't know how you-all do it, working at a desk every day. I can never do that for any length of time.
