I can't think of anything else! And there's the section above for saying favourite books/music/movies and so on, so I don't want to repeat myself. I've kept it at 5

thing is tho, i'm not sure you would be repeating yourself. you'd be picking the most important thing from the list you've stated.

i would say it's fine to be generic with one of them (books, i'm a hoarder, for example, i like). but just saying you can't live without books and music is really quite broad. do you not have a favourite favourite album? a favourite type of food? a favourite person/experience/place?

Then just put what you're reading/watching/listening to and enjoying at the time, next to a few firm favourites.

Bit off-track, and maybe should be a diff thread. I asked out a girl from work. After friending one of my online profiles, she found and read both my blogs. Not that I'm complaining, on the contrary, plus 500 points for initiative. But this isn't the typical way that the getting-to-know-you part plays out. It's interesting, like dating as an open game with perfect information.

Hey Mark, put up that pic of you getting attacked by zombies. You look like you're having fun.

"Cynicism masquerades as wisdom, but it is the farthest thing from it. Because cynics don't learn anything. Because cynicism is a self-imposed blindness, a rejection of the world because we are afraid it will hurt us or disappoint us. Cynics always say no. But saying 'yes' begins things. Saying 'yes' is how things grow. Saying 'yes' leads to knowledge."

I too vote for Mark getting attacked by Zombies. That will most certainly garner some attention. And from a woman with a sense of humour (or a taste for brains), that will be absolutely priceless.

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon
