I think I would wait a few days and then write to him and tell him that it's taken you so long to respond because you've been overwhelmed by the response to your profile and that you've been busy looking through them all and replying back. Tell him that there were several guys who you're currently more interested in, and wish him good luck in his quest. This way he will not assume that you are interested, but will at least know that you spent the time to read his message.

If you don't reply, he will just assume that you are not interested.

so a weird thing just happened..

i got messaged on okcupid by the flatmate of the guy at work who i was fuckbuddying for a while and then went a bit psycho at when he stopped.

He's given no indication in the message that he knows who I am, although he met me once when i went over to Gs flat, but then met me again in a club last week at an event he was at with G and I was at with friends.

I would be surprised if he didn't recognise me from the pictures, but if he did I don't know why he wouldn't say anything in the message. Odd...

I'd tell him that you used to hook up with his room mate and how you would feel about talking to him. He may not recognize you. It doesn't seem like h does or he would have said something.
