I don't care much about sex these days myself. I don't even feel a need for a companion. I think forme it's because I was confined in a sufforcating relationship to long.

I also grew up around sex adicts in open relationships and watching my parents act like sex was their main purpose in life grossed me out.

i still strongly crave both sex and companionship, but i'm working on giving up any expectation or hope of ever having them again.

its really not that important to me

i have the sex, but not the relationship. right now, that suits me very well. regular shagging off one guy, no need to sleep around, a very clear understanding of what we're in it for. i'm glad i found this, because after my last relationship, i'm still not in a fit state to be a good partner to anyone.

occasionally. usually I do that, too! He also seems incapable of washing a dish, or indeed even getting it to the sink. He'll put it in the kitchen, about 2 feet from the actual sink, but not *in* the sink. sigh.

frankly I think he's reverting to about oh, 9 years old...at least in mentality. the other day he was pricing things for a show he's going to and decided to give the left over stickers to our five year old son. I had no idea until bedtime, when I tucked him in and discovered price stickers ALL OVER his bed, toys and walls! My husband actually thought it was a good idea to give Dev these stickers to play with!!

So yeah, when I get a shag it's a really good one, but since it's so few and far between anymore, I've gotten to the point where I really don't much care.

Ok, now that's done with. I almost agree with Robbie about wanting quality companionship, but not necessarily sex.

On my note though, sex is easy, it's getting someone to care about you that's the hard part.

for me personally its not really a fare comment to make.

I wont get either ever again so I suppose its easy to make the comment.

I do, however, put much more stock in companionship (kissing, cudling , huggin etc) than actual sex

you know, the ...friend... i'm seeing cares about me. he's a nice guy. it's just that both of us have had our hearts broken and are running away from love and all that. i believe that it's possible that things may change, but i'm not looking for them to change. right now, all i need from him is what i'm getting.
