I'm such a girl. I only enjoy sex when I feel really good about myself. I'm a girl because I LIKE it-- a lot-- but it's so emotional and less physical. I usually don't care about it, either, except when it DOES start, then it's amazing and I want more and more. But, when I don't feel so good, I can go months without thinking or caring. (Although my boyfriend can't. lol) A mix of both caring and not caring.

I'm interested on what you base this assumption. Why do you really think that you won't ever have intamacy (or sex) again? Is there something more going on than that despair that we have all gone through at some point in our romantic/sexual lives. I thought for a long time that I would never find anyone, that I wasn't good enough/good-looking enough to appeal to anyone, and especially to the type that I am attracted to. But I have come to realise that there is always someone out there that finds something attractive in all those things that we hate about ourselves. Maybe you have difficulty believing in that, and the fact that you don't have enough confidence, you find it even more difficult to approach those that interest you. Those things are surmountable though.

I don't know if this kind of response is of any interest to you, but I think that you are hardly alone in the way that you feel. As for not being interested in sex, I don't think that is all that strange. We all go through periods of more or less interest and there can be innumerable reasons for that. And it is entirely possible that that is the way you are, but there isn't anything weird about that, we don't honest control our sexual desires, they are just part of how we are wired, each individually.

i'd personally do with just the sex. really. there are times in which a girl just craves for a good shag, no matter what. normally during a relationship we do put a great deal of importance into all those sweet intimate rituals that precede sex, which is why it's common tale that women [u]always[/u] associate sex to love. we often do, but not because it's woman's nature. it's because some of us give to sex a strong emotional meaning, and therefore can only have sex with someone they love.
i do give to sex a strong emotional meaning when it's with someone i feel strong emotions for. but i'm also a young woman with hormones and if there's no strong emotions floating in the air for anyone, then i'll do with sex fullstop.
