But now it's all waves on top and salt and pepper and silver grey and I quite like it.

I guess it's just always felt like denial to me. "no! I'm not getting old! don't look at me! aaah!" and, y'know what? we all get old. it's not all bad. the grey looks good—or at least not bad, for the most part—so why flip out over something inevitable and uncontrollable?
