Well... as long as we're not *sure* i can pretend it's the year of the Dragon...
Can't i Big Grin

Sometimes patrons want to go where everybody knows their names, though it helps
when half of them are named John. When people want to celebrate, or commiserate,
they gather to your establishment. You provide the atmosphere, the warmth, rum,
and even an ear to bend. Did I mention the rum? Years before the language will be
mangled with terms like facilitator and networking and interpersonal communication,
you've overseen it all, and broken up a few bar fights, to boot.~

Actually until the 29th January it`s still the Year of the Rooster. I know this because my favourite Chinese takeout place is closed for a fortnight that week, so I can`t have any Sweet and Sour Prawn Balls, Mushroom Curry and Egg Fried Rice. Next year is the Year of the Pig, so this Fire Horse (1966) intends to gorge himself senseless.

Yes... but i *like* rats. Rats are clever, and cute and quite clean. Pigs are... intelligent, and dirty...

Me too. I was thinking of the guinea pig on a stick I had in Bolivia, or was it Peru? The Romans were quite fond of eating rodents too. Indeed the only known cookbook from the days of the Empire , written by a guy named Apicius has a recipe for Stuffed Dormice that`s absolutely delicious.

I was born in the year of the rabbit.

I've eaten rabbit.

Does that make me a cannibal?

*Hugs to the prodigal lost girl* I hope you never get so lost that you can't find your way back to WE. We missed you!
