That's not a very nice thing to say about Joe3heads.

"The other night I dreamed that King George VI was dead, and that Helen Hardinge had somehow or other got herself proclaimed Queen of England, and that I was detailed to go and tell her that it wouldn't do at all; and when I did this, all she said was, 'You see, I am really Queen Mary,' and I said, 'Oh very well' - words to that effect, and woke up.

Last night I dreamed that Eisenhower came to stay with us, and he insisted on being put to sleep in the dog kennel, with a collar and chain about his neck."

- Sir Alan Lascelles, 19 February 1980

i'll totally cop to being clueless and having no game whatsoever, so i'm not blameless in that respect. but when you get stood up for every single date you've made for the last 2+ years...well, i just don't see how i could have fallen into that situation by choice, consciously or unconsciously.

i should have known better than to try again. i fucking give up.

I would rather be single for the rest of all eternity than risk going through again what I've been through and am going through with my ex.

I'd rather live with the pleasant harmony of regular life than the brilliance of another and the void they create when gone.

I don't mind the void people create when they're gone. I have gone through enough heartbreaks to realise that, eventually, the void can be filled again by any number of things. Also, the void I feel by being away from my closest friends can be worse than any void created by any partner.

What I really dread is the greyness and dread of the moment when a relationship stops working, from the very first sparkle of a doubt until the moment it is absolutely and finally all over. You can see there's a high chance of it not working out in the end, yet you still need to go through the whole process... (That's wher eI think I'm standing now, although it's so difficult to see when you're right in the middle of it all...)

Not that any of those things has ever stopped me. I'm a huge advocate of the 'Yay!! Another ride, whee!!!' aproach to relationships.

(Although I have to confess the last ride was sort of more 'Er, a ride would be lovely but I DID throw up the last time, so I'll pass... I'll just stand close by and watch. It looks like fun though... But, no, not this time. Maybe later. I'm happy here, I'm fine. *listens to happy people screaming, sighs* It would be REALLY fun... Don't really want to go this time. Ach, for fuck's sake, ok, stop nagging me already.')
