Sounded like an absolute statement. But you mean it differently. Oh Clinton...can anyone of us truly say they are getting enough sex? There is no such thing as enough sex! I'll never stop feeling that sex is something worth shouting about. It certainly always feels bragworthy. Doesn't mean I'll always brag of course, but that has other reasons. If I ever get so jaded that I don't feel like I want to shout it to the rooftops, I think I'll go on a sabbatical. Do you understand what I mean? The issue in my eyes is clouded by the distinction between the endless possibilities open to the imagination and the distinctly finite range of acts two human beings can perform on one another. Sex in my estimation is like the side salad to the main dish in the relationship, in that it`s an optional, if very welcome bonus but one with limited variation.
It`s the physical limitation of being human that restricts our capacity to form long term bonds because our narrow sensory range so restricts our interaction. Once you`ve achieved all you can within those constraints then surely you need to move on in order to learn more about the universe? Given how wide ranging a person`s emotional needs can be - and this extends way beyond mere carnal gratification - how can they ever be met by one single person, or even many.. No that need can only be fulfilled by union with God. Surely, that's why people have friends and relations too, aside from their "primary relationship"? And as to the carnal needs - you said yourself once that sex isn't a big deal, just a welcome...can't remember the word. Escapist excercise or something. So why would it be so difficult to limit yourself to explore this with only one person? Especially, since others have mentioned that this interaction changes all the time anyway, doesn't stagnate?
