"Those who do, brag about it on the internet..."

If yer gonna brag, make sure you have something worth bragging about....

Those who really "Got It" don't have to brag...

*Chuckles*
On the bantering tour again, CH?
May i ask what makes *you* gods gift to women/men or whoever you have sex with?

(i was speaking of *your* post in the 'i just got laid' thread, hence the "those who do brag about it on the 'net... I don't normally discuss my sex-life in detail on the 'net, love Wink)

~You are a *Taverner*.
Sometimes patrons want to go where everybody knows their names, though it helps
when half of them are named John. When people want to celebrate, or commiserate,
they gather to your establishment. You provide the atmosphere, the warmth, rum,
and even an ear to bend. Did I mention the rum? Years before the language will be
mangled with terms like facilitator and networking and interpersonal communication,
you've overseen it all, and broken up a few bar fights, to boot.~

"May i ask..."

Try it and find out....
:-P
Heh

" I don't normally discuss my sex-life in detail"
Nor I....

It's my experience that those who do, are mostly trying to embellish inadequacy....

No, dear Punkyfins, believe me - this is something you'll never, ever run out of...

And seriously Clinton, what makes you say that?
Do you really think that people who brag about having sex haven't had any sex at all?

Never said "Haven't had any at all"....

It's the same as people who 'flash' money around... mostly they are people who don't really ever have much money.... when they DO get it, they feel the need to brag... (mostly I think cause it happens so rarely, it comes as a shock to them)

Well, you did say: "Those who really "Got It" don't have to brag..."
Sounded like an absolute statement. But you mean it differently.

Oh Clinton...can anyone of us truly say they are getting enough sex?
There is no such thing as enough sex!

I'll never stop feeling that sex is something worth shouting about. It certainly always feels bragworthy. Doesn't mean I'll always brag of course, but that has other reasons.

If I ever get so jaded that I don't feel like I want to shout it to the rooftops, I think I'll go on a sabbatical.

Do you understand what I mean?

Don't you feel elated and like you want to tell the whole world about it afterwards?

The issue in my eyes is clouded by the distinction between the endless possibilities open to the imagination and the distinctly finite range of acts two human beings can perform on one another. Sex in my estimation is like the side salad to the main dish in the relationship, in that it`s an optional, if very welcome bonus but one with limited variation.

Originally posted by Punkyfins:What i think is getting muddled here, is that we're talking about sex, in different contexts (sp?).
Sex in a relationship, is like everything else in said relationship. You shouldn't be in a relationship because you want to be in one. Or because you want a girl/boyfriend, or because you want sex on a semi-regular basis.
You're in that relationship because you want (or wanted at one time) to be with that person. Not with just one role that person might have in your life.

It`s the physical limitation of being human that restricts our capacity to form long term bonds because our narrow sensory range so restricts our interaction. Once you`ve achieved all you can within those constraints then surely you need to move on in order to learn more about the universe? Given how wide ranging a person`s emotional needs can be - and this extends way beyond mere carnal gratification - how can they ever be met by one single person, or even many.. No that need can only be fulfilled by union with God.

When you eat, do you get full?

Sexual appetite is no different (which is not to say that everyone has the same 'level' of appetite) it is possible to satiate it if you do it right....

If your appetite cannot be satiated, maybe you need to see a doctor

Lol Miho... no.. after *that* you have to do it *again*!
*chuckles*
And then you have to do it again, and longer.

Punkyfins: LOL!

Heh. That took a rather strange turn, Miho. But maybe not so strange.

I don't understand about the emotional needs.
Surely, that's why people have friends and relations too, aside from their "primary relationship"?

And as to the carnal needs - you said yourself once that sex isn't a big deal, just a welcome...can't remember the word. Escapist excercise or something.
So why would it be so difficult to limit yourself to explore this with only one person? Especially, since others have mentioned that this interaction changes all the time anyway, doesn't stagnate?

And Clinton: Yes, but you do eat several times a day, don't you? Razz

But when you`ve tried every dish, special and combo on the menu you have a simple choice. Either repeat experiences you`ve already tried or find a new restaurant..
