Well, I'll of course send it anyway, but you should send a pic.

lol, thanks. at this point i'm not really interested in self-publishing...i see it as kind of a last resort.

i can send a pic, tho, if you really want me to. but i haven't got any recent ones. i tend to stay away from cameras. i kinda look like a cross between Maynard from Tool and Elliott Smith. shall i email?

Dear Natalie,

an empty house, deep breaths, a hot strong cup of tea, a good book, and music.

Eek I just found this!

Dear Cobalt:

I am having trouble posting anything on this message board. How long of a dry spell before I dry up completely and become one of those people whom posters slightly recall? Should I do anything about it? Why am I finding anything I have to say here meaningless? Should I care?

Many hugs, because you've truly made me laugh today, reading this thread all at once,

xine

Dear Xine,

i've gone through the same thing myself, and all i can say is there can be weeks where you'll find nothing interesting to respond to, or nothing inside you that you feel is worth expressing or worth expending the effort. i've always found, though, that then there will be weeks where i seem to be posting all over the place. so basically i'm saying that it's cyclical. you'll probably get it back. and even if not, there are posters here who barely post, and yet who seem to be just as important to us as anyone. and posters who've been gone for ages, whom we still remember.

so i wouldn't worry too much. but if it's still getting you down, i'd advise responding to something in the most arbitrarily offensive way possible. that's always fun. Wink

i'm glad you found this thread, and that it amused you! before VegaRiad's post, it had been so long that i was beginning to get concerned that i'd solved everyone's problems and driven myself into obsolescence! heh.

Am I the only one who had to think of You Know Who, the poster from hell, when I read this? Wink

I can very much confirm what you said, though; even though I'm not the most regular poster at the best of times, I sometimes go weeks without a single post, and then suddenly all these threads pop up that I get involved in. Hang in there, Xine!
