If hetro men in general are so often homophobic, why is it they are then so turned on by Lesbianism and anal intercourse? I mean, isn't homosexuality homosexuality, or are they (the homophobic ones) being hypocrites, and why? I don't get it?

All humans are essentially bisexual at heart but some have a greater predisposition toward the opposing sex whereas others gravitate more toward their own. I`m not sure in my own mind why that should be the case but I suspect that homophobes are those who are aware they have an inclination to same gender relationships but have been raised in an environment where that isn`t considered "acceptable" so they go into aggressive denial or project their self loathing on those who are less inhibited.

Are hetero men who are into lesbianism really into it, or are they into the idea that all lesbians are actually hot bisexuals who would gladly grab the guy and pull him into a threesome?

There`s also the voyeuristic appeal of getting two for the price of one and although few guys will admit it some wonder what it might be like to *be* a woman, if only temporarily, to know what it`s like to have breasts and multiple orgasms and so on. It`s a lot more common than you think.

Actually, I do think that's common--or at least I have sometimes wondered what it would be like to experience sex as a man (I wouldn't dream of giving up the ability to have multiple orgasms to find out, tho!). It strikes me as the kind of weird idle thought that passes through people's heads from time to time...

Anyway, I've thought about having sex as a man, so I'm sure men think about having sex as a woman.. They just won't admit it as easily..

And it is funny with guys wanting anal sex, but at the same time thinking of homosexual sex as gross!

At least the possibility exists for a woman given the existance of the strap-on but for a man the only way he can have a passive sexual experience is to be penetrated anally (Which takes us back to *that* thread) and it`s a little known fact about the ancient Greeks and Romans that whilst being the active partner in a gay male relationship was more-or-less okay, being subordinate was to assume a female role in a patriarchal society and thus merit disdain or worse. That`s why you get so much more of a negative reaction to gay male as opposed to lesbian sex. The woman *couldn`t* lose status but the man could and fearing the loss of his status if he gave way to certain desires makes homophobia a social survival mechanism in that culture.

Yeah I was trying to express the view that men are expected to take the initiative most of the time as well as provide most of the sheer physical effort, which is why we get worn out faster than the girls and need a breathing space in which to catch our breath before we can start over whilst women are only constrained by the effect of soreness on their genetalia. That said, I`ve always found oral to be the ideal form because both parties are working at the same pace.

I think it would be nice to try out a penis for a day.
Though they do seem peculiarly exposed to flying soccer balls and sudden motions of other people's knees, and they do hang around rather precariously.

I think anal sex has less to do with homosexuality (I mean, if you're a guy trying to have sex with another guy, there's only so many holes you can choose), and more to do with tight-fitting naughtiness.

To hetro guys, lesbians look curvy and neat and nice to look at and I guess they're put off by too many balls flapping all over the place. And again, it's nice curvy breastacular naughtiness.

Homosexuality isn't just about anal, anal is a different subject. Homosexuality just happens to feature lots of anal.

Ive ehard this before and this is the easiest way to explain it.

Homophobic men arent really homophobic. They just dont want anybody to think they like men. We are rather disgusted by otehr men.

it isnt the act of homosexuality, its the fact that there is TWICE as much as regular porn and no penises, no mens asses, and no hairy stomachs.

I don't think that the latter is nearly as common a turn-on as the former. I'm not really turned on by either, so I can't say for sure. The former holds my attention more because, well, it's that many more boobs.

If I may, I think it's a little homophobic to reduce a lifestyle to methods of sex. Actual, practical, day-to-day lesbianism bears little to no resemblance to the kind found in male jerk-mags, and homosexuality can express itself in ways other than taking it up the off-ramp.

Also, the anus is simply tighter than the vagina. A tighter seal means greater stimulation.
