Got mine too. I have to agree, it's pretty damn good. I thought the slipcover was pretty good, but the Murder Mysteries had a cooler design. On the other hand, I was very impressed with how much better the actual book was made. The cloth cover to the Murder Mysteries book was ok, but I like the cover to Snow, Glass, Apples a lot more.(cover to the actual book, not slipcover) I'am pretty impressed with the whole package though, biting dog press does damn fine work!

Dalliance, I think the Murder Mysteries your talking about is the recent one done by the artist P. Craig Russell. It cost about $12-$15 here and actually is a very nice little hardback with great art published by Dark Horse comics. The Murder Mysteries (and Snow, Glass, Apple) Hob and I were refering to were books made by Biting Dog Press ( www.binting-dog-press.com ) from the audio plays that scifi.com did based on Neil's stories. Both books are beatiful handmade works of art. If you get a chance you should check out Biting Dod's site, it's pretty good and it will give you a much better idea of what I'm talking about.

Dalliance: Smoke And Mirrors hardcover is available for borrowing at the Boon Lay library. I should know; read it there just now. Snow, Glass, Apples is good. Better than my current Gothic lit texts.

I have to ditto that. Just got the lettered edition in the mail a few days ago (while I was away even). Dave - I really like the silver logo on the (maroon!) cover

Just to let everyone know,we had planned on including the "A Play For Voices" CD with the books, and Sci-Fi Theater did give us permission. We have the Cd's finished and the artwork is done and inserted into the sleeves and stuck to the discs........ However, they would not give permission to us in writing so we couldn't take the chance of publishing it.....After a while, they stopped returning my calls and e-mail.....after they got what they wanted (copies of the book for their contest) they dropped us like a hot potato! By the way, if you won one of the contest copies, I'd love to hear from you! Dave Dinsmore Biting Dog Press www.bitingdogpress.com
