Ah, that's right...you're supposed to do the site search before you post.* I found this in Neil's journal from 2004:

"Next year may well bring THE DANGEROUS ALPHABET, a sort of Goreyish poem I wrote as an Xmas card a few years back, as an illustrated book (my publisher was so taken with the card that she asked if I'd mind if it became a book, and I don't)..."

I also found this web page...

which claims to be the poem, but appears on my computer screen as a tiny blue-and-white question mark.

Anyone have any additional information?

The site you linked is my biblio. The image doesn't work because I'm still scanning in pictures. When it's done, I'll try to get Neil to put a link in his blog.

The Dangerous Alphabet is a poem, a line for each letter of the alphabet, and somewhat Piratical in nature iirc. For a few years Neil sent out poems as holiday cards, the Dangerous Alphabet was one of those. The extras he had were given to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund to auction off which is why people like me have copies.
