(sorry if this is in the wrong place to put this, I wasn't quite sure...lemme know, mods)

Ok, yesterday I was watching TV at my gf's and there was a show on the History Channel about comic books, and even our Neil was interviewed on it. (Anyone know what I'm talking about?) I only caught a snippet, but I would really like to watch the whole thing, and without people gabbing in the background.

after much research, I found that the show (I'm pretty sure it's the right one) is called "Comic Book Superheroes Unmasked" but when I searched THC website schedule, I didn't come up with anything. ARGH.

I found it for $25 in their store, and as low as $14 (without shipping) on eBay, but I really wasn't interested in buying it. After watching it once, what would I do with it?

Is there any chance anyone has either an idea as to what to do (does whining to THC to replay it work?), or a copy they could lend me? I would repay shipping and send along a gift of thanks, of course.

IF YOU EVER HEAR ABOUT THIS REPLAYING, LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!! kthx

and BAH-HUMBUG @ THC for teasing me.

I would suggest contacting the A & E store through their 1-800 number. Persist and they should get you through to their scheduling supervisors. I might also try checking on YouTube to see if any sections of the documentary are online.

well, I checked youtube, and I didn't find the whole thing. they had some parts, but for some reason I couldn't find all (am I missing brain cells?) and 2 hours of youtubes is a little daunting....sigh, if worse comes to worst, it'll have to work.

do you think they actually listen to show requests? if anybody has a moment, it'd probably help if more people called....(damnit, I can't find a number...I AM missing important brain cells)

Miss Silk, that is indeed the title, and the full program first aired about 2 years agoish.

Go to your wonderful newly found library with the information about the dvd and ask them if they can do an inter-library loan for it.

well, I searched the library's online catalog right off, and they didn't have it.

but now I remember, from what you guys have told me, they can get it from elsewhere? (cause that would really be the PERFECT solution...no commercials, and free! yay!) it doesn't matter if any of the libraries in the county have it? ohh I'm getting excited. Would they even be able to get this sort of thing?

this board solves all my problems.

Tell your librarian this info :

OCLC: 61347142

ISBN: 0767083652; 9780767083652

That should be enough for him/her to find it.
