Here's my fingers crossed that if they ever get to do the film, it won't fit Robin Williams' schedule. I can't stand the guy.

I wonder what role they were thinking of Johnny Depp for. Maybe Crowley?

Robin Williams was to play Crowly and Johnny Depp was to play Aziraphale.

Terry got a great performance out of Robin Williams when he did Fisher King. He kept him from being too over the top. I think he could do it again.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if they got Liev Schreiber (from the Omen remake) to play the American diplomat?

To me, that is so... wrong. Crowley should be attractive, in a slithering, reptilian way. He should be sleek and quick.

I still think that it could be interesting to have the same actor play both Aziraphale and Crowley, but that's mainly because the two look very similar on the cover of my edition of Good Omens. Still, they're both angel stock, and they're two sides of a coin, so to speak, so I think it could work - if done well. (Johnny Depp as both?)

That would be fantastic. I've been picturing him in both roles all day. He'd be great in either.

having just watched Neverwhere, thank you netflix... the guy who played The Marquis de Carabas, I think he'd be interesting in the Crowley/Aziraphale roles.

how long ago was that filmed though, I wonder if he's aged well.

I can't really picture Robin Williams in this. I dunno, maybe the cranky old guy walking the dog? It's a very small role, but it's a strong one, I think. And just perfect for a cameo.

Yeah, what a great idea. Maybe that would appeal to him enough to do it too. He likes challenges.

I'm personally a big fan of Robin Williams (hate him if you will, but I don't). However, he may be a bit too old for the part of Crowley, as he and Aziraphale are supposed to look relatively young. Although, the more I think about it, the more I think he might actually pull off a really great Aziraphale.

Hi, I'm a new member, and I'm italian, so... well, I'm sorry for mistakes I'll surely make ^^
Anyway... I think Good Omens' cast needs Ed Norton for Aziraphale's role. And I don't mind JD as Crowley, but I think Tom Cruise'd be better (do you remember Lestat? Wink. And what about Cameron Bright as Adam?

I'm sure you guys have seen this already, but here's me hoping that my first Gaiman experience will still make it to the big screen.

Heck, I'd settle for direct to DVD right now.
