I got this series of about 10 comics (just 10 individual small episodes, not whole books) of Lady Justice with Neil's name in big letters on the cover. I assumed it meant he had written it. Somewhere in the second episode I decided it didn't sound much like him so I looked at the cover again, and there's someone else credited as the author... big disappointment. It's in fact "Neil Gaiman's Lady Justice" as in the character belongs to him but he didn't write it.

I should have checked it here first - my mistake. The fact that it's not cited anywhere on the site would have been a dead giveaway.

So, it's a moderately decent series, not as good as the spinoff of Sandman short stories (the comics version). Anyone can tell me at least where this Lady Justice comes from and how is Neil connected to her? I remember seeing her briefly mentioned in V for Vendetta.

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

when's spring due?.

Tekno Comix was a copmany that had characters created by some famous folk - Gaiman, Leonard Nemoy, Isaac Asimov, Gene Rodenberry, etc - but were written by others. Neil supplied several characters including Mr.Hero, Lady Justice and Teknophage. There was going to be a collection of Lady Justice, but I don't believe it ever came out.

Thanks both of you, that kind of explains it. I guess it reads better when you know what it is from the start. This Lady Justice that runs on 11 (or 12) episodes is like 3 different stories by at least 3 different authors. I like the last one the best, written by C. J. Henderson.
