I was chatting to Sheila Wells (first name should have Irish spelling - sorry!) who did the make-up on the series not long after Neverwhere came out on the BBC and she said there was a follow up: did Neil publish in anyway please? It is possible that it was no more than an outline that wasn't taken up by the Beeb but I'd hope that it would have been written if nothing else as it cries out for one.

I haven't been able to find any reference to it but it was obviously designed to have one and I'd like see or at least read it.

Have fun,

Andy

Before Neverwhere went out on TV in the UK there were rumours of a follow up which never happened. Neil has since said that he intends to write a sequel at some point as a novel, but I think he has a few other commitments first.

I think I read on Neil's FAQ that he has the intention of writing a follow up to Neverwhere. I believe he said the tentative title is The Seven Sisters. I haven't heard anything about the sequel in a while but I can only hope that we do get to see one soon. Neverwhere has always been my favorite book.

Please Please PLEASE Mr. Gaiman!
A Sequel would be awesome. I "stopped" reading for a few years (caught up in the tech craze) and decided to start reading again, and this as fantastic. Neverwhere is easily the best book I've read in a long time. Big Grin

Neverwhere = Best. Book. Ever.
