I was watching TV the other day in that vague way in which you are not actually turned towards it or listening, but nevertheless it must remain on and other people shouldn't interrupt. At one point I glanced over and saw our illustrious Neil Gaiman having a talk, so I started to pay attention. About two seconds later the segment ended. It was playing on Space (the sci-fi network we have up in Canada) and it was regarding some sort of novel or story collection. Reveiwing the dim bits I recalled hearing before I actually paid attention, this is what I believe. I'm not certain if Neil actually has a story in this book, or if he was just expressing general approval on it, but either way it sounded very interesting (maybe!) Regardless, it has been driving me insane, trying to remember the title of this publication they were talking about. Can anyone gather, from this befuddled post, what the title is that I'm looking for? I can't be more specific, that's all I have to give you. Possibly someone said the word "lullaby"?

Please help, if you have the slightest clue. I have no soul to give in thanks, so instead you shall have eternal gratitude.

It was most likely for "The Monarch of The Glen," which Neil submitteed to "Legends II." I don't remember the name of the editor off of the top of my head, but it was put with Neil's books in most bookstores I've been in lately. It's an "American Gods" sequel.

editor was Robert Silverberg. It was just released in paperback form (the hardcover was one volume, the paperback is split into three volumes)

Hmm... this isn't ringing any bells. Is there anything else, or is this the only thing that fits the bill?

Well, for me (who pays attention to all Neil's publications), just Neil saying lullaby doesn't ring any bells whatsoever. Now, I don't know what he's reviewed lately, or if what you saw was a rerun of something older... but it's so little to go by that I'm lost.
