So what's your Gaiman favorite that you'd bring with you on a deserted island and read till the end of days?

For me, it's definitely American Gods...

Too bad I want to read a lot of other stuff, but I definitely plan to reread AG as soon as possible...

Of course, the entire Sandman epic is probably my first-hand choice above that wink

Smoke & Mirrors...or Angels & Visitations because I'd want 'Being an experiment.' But I'm less likely to carry A&V onto a boat that might sink.

The Complete Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

He did do the introduction.

When Winter comes and singing ends;
when darkness falls at last;
When broken is the barren bough, and light and labour past;
I'll look for thee, and wait for thee, unil we meet again;
Together we will take the road beneath the bitter rain.

A tossup between AG and Sandman for me - I'd probably go with AG since I haven't read it as many times.

Good Omens. B/c if I got stuck on a desert island I'd be depressed and need something funny to cheer me up constantly.

Definitely the Sandman series. I've reread the entire series over and over and I'm still enthralled.
It's cheating in a way becoz the entire series is like several different books instead of just one. Razz

The Sandman. It was a tough choice between that and American Gods, though.

Sandman seems like an obvious choice, but I sort of know it by heart. I think I'll go with Stardust, the illustrated edition. It's just so beautiful ...

Gaiman is the bestest EVARIE! Eh, I mean Sandman. ^_^;;

No doubt about it, it's The Sandman.

Stardust, for perking me up ^^

nah actually, it'd prolly be Books of Magic...I'm prolly biased just coz of the art tho ^^;

now if it's single issue comic...it'd have to be "The Sound of Her Wings" ^^

"I believe that anyone who claims to know what's going on will lie about the little things too. I believe in absolute honesty and sensible social lies" - Samantha Black Crow, from American Gods

American Gods is so mind-blowingly great, but there's no way I could do without Sandman. No way.

Same here, the Sandman. Among the series, probably Season of Mists.

The Sandman. It's long, so it'd take up a lot of time to read, and there's just so much there. If I had to pick only one volume, though, probably Good Omens. Because its fun. I like American Gods better, but it's more challenging, and on a desert island, I would just want to laugh.
