I'm sure that there are probably threads about this somewhere already on the board, sorry if so, but does any one have the 'inside scoop' on Neil's next MARVEL project??

I'm anticipating it, though i will admit that i was, gasp, a little dissapointed with 1602.. It wasn't bad, but i just didn't really get into it.. I haven't read it since it first came out, so i might have to read it again just to see if i like it a little better this time around...

Anyway, does anyone know what Neil's next Marvel book will be..? I haven't heard anything solid yet...

Personally, i think it would be really f*ckin cool if he'd do something with the character NIGHTMARE. Neil would have been great on a Dr. Strange title, but it didn't work out that way.. I wonder if Neil could get away with making an alternate version of the endless for Marvel Comics, with Nightmare being the Marvel version of Sandman...? Death being the Marvel version of, well, Death...

Or if that has ever crossed his mind or interested him.. Or if DC would accept this prospect..

Or of course Neil's take on classics like Thor, Silver Surfer or Man-Thing would be very interesting as well........

there've been no concrete annoucements as to the nature of this next project, as far as I know. We shall see.

Neil is doing a six issue Eternals series. (Neil has said so on his blog)

he's going to do The Eternals for Marvel as a 6 issue monthly comic.
i barely remember the eternals.

Cool! I guess i kinda get my wish down a middle grounds, as the Eternals would, arguably, be the Marvel version of the Endless...

wel....... the marvel pantheon, does have established cosmic beings.

Death - A lady death, who is the POLAR OPPISITE of the dc one.

Eternity, Galactus, and also the living tribunbal.


How he will revamp those chars, who are in some ways...boring will be interesting.
