I first read Neverwhere a few years ago while studying in London. I really consider it my first introduction to London. I'm going to be a proffessor someday and I do hope to evetually be able to teach a study abroad class in the U.K. and have Neverwhere as a text . . .
Anyway, I have the vague sense that Gaiman mentioned a compendium/companion/annotation site on his blog sometime fairly recently. Am I correct? I've search the blog a bit and keep turning up nothing. Does anyone know if there is such a site, or am I simply imagining things? It seems like there isn't a page dedicated to the geographic and folkloric London allusions there should be. Any information would be quite helpful. Thanks, -Jude |

The only annotation website I'm aware of is our own Renata's site, but it's for American Gods, not Neverwhere.
I checked GMZoe's blog index and there wasn't anything under the Neverwhere category indicating there was one. But I'm honestly the least Neil-knowledgable of the mods, so GMZoe or Dweller might (hopefully) show up saying such a site does exist. _____________________________________________________________ "He's probably one of those people that thinks Elvis is dead." -- Agent Mulder |

(yeesh amy, that's years out of date, why do you keep linking to it?)
I don't recall Neil posting a Neverwhere annotation site link. He has posted several other annotation links for things like Sandman and 1602, but I haven't heard of a Neverwhere one. If you have specific questions about Neverwhere, you could ask here. Maybe you could start a new annotation site since there seems to be a void! |

(because I don't want to. Anyways, that would mean that I'd have to read the blog.)
