Rose is talking about the book she's reading (Here Comes a Candle) and some of the unfamiliar words therein: sinople, lusk, bloater. Her next seat neighbor (they are on an airplane) informs her that a bloater is, "like a kipper, really. You know, a smoked herring . Like you have for breakfast." In the past few days, we've been getting a *huge* amount of Notifications that are bouncing back to the mod email. If you've noticed that you haven't been receiving your normal notifications (ie, new posts, private messages, etc), please make sure that gaiman.board.mods@gmail.com is in your email's safe list. The majority of the bounce-backs seem to be coming from hotmail addresses, so if you've got a hotmail email, please make sure we're in your address book, even if you don't have notifications set up.
